Bee a Little Better

We assemble every Thursday, even when the World Cup Soccer is going on😉. Thanks everyone..!!!!!

Here we have Lori Aoki Ebner aka Lori. You will never meet another person more dedicated and kind and will jump through hoops to make things happen. She works at Union Rescue Mission and has been volunteering for almost a decade. Happy Bday Lori….!!!! Enjoy your day.

They say a picture is worth a 1000 words. We have a saying “ We give what we got”. This gentlemen just needed some spiritual uplifting. He needed some words of faith and encouragement. Our very own Pastor Keith ( Keith Takeshi Hirata ) just happened to be the right person for the job. It was so touching to witness something like that. We hope to see him again to make sure he’s okay.

Another beautiful night helping our friends on Skid Row. We were missing our ringleader Steven Wu, but we somehow managed without him. Thanks to our amazing volunteers for doing what they do best in taking care of our peeps on the streets!

Happy Happy Happy Bday to Kristi aka Master Chef Baker Kristi. It was fate how we met, we were distributing meals to volunteers during the Altadena Fires and they noticed our bright yellow shirts and from that moment on…it was magical. Her spirit , her compassion, her kindness, and love has no limits. We appreciate everything you’ve done for .a.little.better.group and we appreciate you as a friend and family member to our group. Happy Bday!!!

For many years, has flown in from France to visit her daughter, in LA where she is creating her own clothing line and volunteering with us at .a.little.better.group . When , aka Mama G, is in town and volunteering with us, is pushed to the side cuz everyone loves Mama G. This year, has flown home to visit and spend time with Mama G. Just wanted to say Hi to the both of them and let Mama G know that we miss her. Come back home safe. ❤️

We out here doing it again. We have the best Family of Volunteers from mothers and fathers, hair dressers, make up artist, engineers, entrepreneurs, fighters, creative minds, compassionate, loving, pet lovers, spiritual, captains of the sea, photographers, wanderers, actors, teachers, thugs or at least they look to be😉, artist, musicians, bakers, chefs, human, soulful, and just good people. Shoutout to for the 150 chicken bowls and 16 gallons of homemade soup, for the bananas, for the tea and clothing, and for the PBnJ, for the snacks galore, for the tons of fresh fruits, for the pet food and other supplies, chef .aldana.1213 made some bomb spicy quesadillas, we have some Porto’s from , and our usual host of supplies. Thanks everyone!!!

What a day it was…started off with a Pre Game Bday party for Kristi. Had a little Chef’s Bake Off. We got to try some bomb cake by Kristi and Chuck. Then we were off to for a night game. We were then featured on their Jumbotron. Such a surreal moment. Our promo video was produced by , thanks Brian!!!. I want to thank all the Volunteers and other organizations that make .a.little.better.group what it is today and we continue to be bigger and better for the community. Full circle. The man, the myth, aka Pastor Ruben. Fate brought us together. He was looking for us and we were looking for inspiration. We’re not a religious group we just happen to work with Pastor Ruben to serve the community that is in need of help. Meeting him created a growth of other volunteers which also lead us to .vere of , and Kristi of . The resources, knowledge, experience, and compassion is what we got to grow. We also were reunited with aka Pastor Keith. Great night to serve with these folks. We have others that we would like to highlight later. Thank you to all the folks that have become family to us.

This weekend, we have been invited to attend a game. We are so honored to be invited to their newly built stadium and majority of us are Dodgers fans. We would like to thank , Brian, for coming out with us to see what we do and capturing the moment. To our Volunteers, take a bow, you all did this to make Bee A Little Better, better😜.
