In NVCS’ community 41% of families live on incomes below federal poverty level, and 97% of students are considered not fluent in English.
We are a nonprofit organization serving the residents in the San Fernando Valley, offering a wide array of programs to enable residents to lift themselves out of poverty, while also encouraging them to build a vision for their community's future. NVCS actively addresses these needs and those necessary for self-sufficiency by offering 3 major programs, which include literacy classes for the entire

Thank You, Kaiser Permanente!
Last week, we were grateful to welcome our partners from Kaiser Permanente as volunteers at our #335 Drive-Thru Food Pantry, where together we served hundreds of families in need.
At North Valley Caring Services, volunteers help make our work possible. From packing food boxes to greeting families with care and dignity, every helping hand makes a difference.

Tomorrow’s pantry will be dedicated to Joseph Flores as we honor him on his heavenly birthday. 💙 Volunteers and participants are invited to show love by wearing Dodgers gear and/or flannels—what you would always see him in. Joseph was a beloved coworker, friend, family member, and part of our community. Happy Heavenly Birthday, Joseph. 🙏⚾💫
