Lights, camera…bloopers 🎬

We’ve filmed a lot of content at fire stations over the years, and not every shot goes according to plan 🤣

Here’s some of our favorite behind-the-scenes bloopers that never made the final cut. Enjoy!

Made possible by the Adopt-A-Fire-Station (AAFS) program, LAFD Fire Station 50 has a new toolbox!

Firefighters spend more than a third of their lives at the station, but 50% of LAFD fire stations are more than 50 years old and haven’t been updated in decades - including equipment.

An upgraded, high-quality toolbox keeps important items and equipment secure, organized, and in good condition, so they last longer and work better.

100% of AAFS donations support unique needs - like a toolbox - and more that aren’t covered by the city’s budget.

Sometimes, it’s the little things ❤️ Make your impact through the general AAFS program, or give directly to the fire station of your choice - link in bio.

📣Introducing May's Firefighter of the Month: Engineer Mark Stubblefield from Fire Station 93.

Raised with a strong sense of service, Stubblefield discovered his passion for the fire service at 17 years old through a local Explorer Program. The encouragement he received from firefighters that day inspired a career dedicated to learning, mentorship, and serving others.

From Airborne Task Force operations to Urban Search and Rescue assignments, Engineer Stubblefield has never stopped seeking opportunities to grow.

Now serving at Fire Station 93, he is helping shape the next generation of firefighters through mentorship, training, and leadership. For Stubblefield, the greatest measure of success is seeing those he's trained excel in the job.

“The biggest flex,” he shared, “is when somebody you’ve trained is doing the job just as well as you are.”

Step inside LAFD Fire Station 109 🚒

This is where crews train, respond, and reset day in and day out. Through the Adopt-A-Fire-Station (AAFS) program, stations like this receive vital equipment and resources that aren’t covered by the city's budget.

Recently, donor dollars helped provide updated kitchen appliances and supplies for the station. When you give to the AAFS program, you’re helping strengthen an entire fire station and the firefighters who call it home.
