“Freedom brings us together.”
Today we honor freedom, resilience, and community. Juneteenth marks when news of emancipation finally reached Galveston, TX in 1865 — a reminder that liberation is worth celebrating, remembering, and protecting.
At NAMI San Fernando Valley, we know freedom includes mental wellness. Healing, rest, joy, and belonging are part of it too.
We’re holding space for Black mental health today and every day. You deserve support, community, and hope.

June 2026 is Pride Month 🏳️🌈
Every identity. Every story. Everyone belongs.
At NAMI San Fernando Valley, we know LGBTQ+ mental health matters. You deserve spaces where you can be fully yourself, without hiding or explaining.
Stigma, discrimination, and family rejection take a real toll. But community, affirmation, and support help healing happen.
You are loved. You are valid. You belong here.

Thank you repost : When we talk about health, we often think about annual checkups, exercise, nutrition, and sleep.
Mental health deserves that same attention.
This Men’s Mental Health Month, we’re helping break the silence around mental health challenges and reminding men everywhere that support is available.
Whether you’re checking in on yourself, a friend, a father, a son, a brother, or a coworker, one conversation can make a difference.
No one should have to struggle in silence.
