Happy Juneteenth from Harbor Interfaith Services ❤️💛💚
Today, we commemorate Juneteenth, a day that marks the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates freedom, resilience, and the enduring contributions of Black Americans throughout our nation’s history.
Juneteenth is a time to reflect on the importance of equality, opportunity, and justice for all. It is also an opportunity to recognize the work that remains in addressing the barriers that continue to impact underserved communities, including housing insecurity, poverty, and access to essential resources.
At Harbor Interfaith Services, we believe that every individual deserves dignity, respect, and the opportunity to thrive. We remain committed to serving our community with compassion and working toward a future where everyone has access to safe housing, support, and hope.
Today, we celebrate freedom, honor the past, and recommit ourselves to building stronger, more inclusive communities for all.

🎓 Preschool Graduation at the Children’s Center! 🎉💙
At Harbor Interfaith Services, our Children’s Center provides a nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and build a strong foundation for the future while their families work toward stability and success.
Each year, our incredible teachers celebrate our graduating preschoolers with a special ceremony, and while this year’s graduating class may have been small, the excitement and pride were larger than ever! ✨
Noah and Ryden took center stage as they walked the red carpet, accepted their diplomas, and shared their dreams for the future. In a moment that brought smiles to everyone’s faces, both graduates proudly announced that they hope to become Spider-Man someday! 🕷️❤️
We could not be more proud of Noah and Ryden for all they have accomplished and of the families who have supported them every step of the way. As they begin their next chapter in grade school, we know they have bright futures ahead of them.
A special thank you to our dedicated Children’s Center staff for creating such a memorable celebration and for helping our children reach this important milestone. 🌟
Congratulations, Noah and Ryden! We can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll accomplish.

🏡 A New Beginning! 💙
At Harbor Interfaith Services, we are dedicated to helping individuals and families experiencing homelessness find stability, hope, and a path forward. Through housing assistance, food support, case management, mental health resources, and other essential services, we work every day to help our clients achieve lasting success.
One of the most rewarding moments in our work is celebrating when a client moves into a place they can finally call home, and today, we’re excited to share one of those success stories! 🎉
After working closely with her case manager, Neal Glasgow, Julie achieved an incredible milestone this week: moving into her very own apartment. Through determination, perseverance, and the support of our housing services team, Julie has taken an important step toward a brighter and more stable future.
We want to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Julie on this wonderful achievement and recognize Neal for his dedication, compassion, and hard work in helping make moments like this possible. 🙌
Stories like Julie’s remind us why we do what we do, because everyone deserves a safe place to call home.

June is Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month 💜
Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia affect millions of individuals and families across the country. For those experiencing homelessness, the challenges associated with memory loss and cognitive decline can be even more severe.
Individuals living with Alzheimer’s may struggle to navigate daily life, access services, maintain housing, manage medications, or connect with support systems. Without stable housing and consistent care, these challenges can increase the risk of isolation, health complications, and prolonged homelessness.
At Harbor Interfaith Services, we recognize the importance of providing compassionate support, stable housing, and access to resources for vulnerable members of our community. Every person deserves dignity, understanding, and the opportunity to live safely and with the support they need.
This Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month, we encourage our community to learn more about the disease, support caregivers, and help raise awareness of the unique challenges faced by individuals experiencing both cognitive decline and housing insecurity.
Together, we can build a more compassionate community for everyone. 💙
