This week brings a wave of bittersweet emotions as we say goodbye to some of the finest student leaders at UCLA. As they transition into their next chapters—from launching exciting careers and entering graduate programs to taking well-deserved gap years—we find ourselves looking back with immense gratitude for the incredible mark they’ve left on our campus.

They didn’t just show up for work here; they poured their hearts into building a home away from home. Their unique ability to ‘give back’ and uplift the UCLA military-connected student community has built a foundation of support that will empower future Bruins for years to come.

They wore so many hats and touched so many lives. They were the reassuring faces providing front-line support, the dedicated tutors helping peers push through tough midterms, the creative minds behind our media and content, the meticulous benefit processors ensuring fellow students were taken care of, and the innovative program builders who brought us together. Through every single role, they created a genuine sense of family.

We are endlessly proud of everything you’ve achieved, both in the classroom and in our office. Thank you for the dedication, empathy, and joy you brought to our team every single day. You will be deeply missed, but your legacy stays right here.
