Two celebrations.
Two communities.
One reminder.

People are remarkably resilient.

We carry stories of struggle, perseverance, hope, and freedom across cultures and generations.

And somehow, through it all, we still find ways to gather.

To dance.
To laugh.
To celebrate.

What a beautiful part of the human experience.

It’s a beautiful day to knock doors! We’re having great conversations with folks in East Cobb. It’s all about building meaningful connections with people.

I'm honored to receive the endorsement of The First Ask.

Their mission is to support women running for office and help build a stronger pipeline of leaders committed to public service.

As a mom, psychologist, and candidate for Georgia House District 45, I know how important it is for people from different backgrounds and life experiences to have a seat at the table.

Thank you to The First Ask for their confidence in our campaign.

Together, we're building a future that works for everyone.

I signed the Move to Amend pledge because I believe democracy belongs to people, not corporate money.

The pledge calls for a constitutional amendment to make clear that money is not speech, and that human beings, not corporations, are the people entitled to constitutional rights.

At a time when so many people feel like their voices are drowned out by special interests, this is one way to say clearly: Our government must answer to voters, families, workers, and communities.

Yesterday, I joined hundreds of Georgians at the State Capitol to speak out against efforts to redraw district lines and weaken the voices of voters.

The experience reinforced something I firmly believe:

In a democracy, power belongs to the people.

Electeds are entrusted to represent the public, not shield themselves from it.

That's why fair maps matter.
That's why transparency matters.
That's why public participation matters.

And it's why I recently signed the Move to Amend pledge.

Whether we're talking about voting rights, campaign finance, or decisions that affect our communities, the principle is the same: Government works best when it remains accountable to the people.

That's the kind of leadership I believe Georgia deserves, and it's why I'm running.

Today, people showed up.

We spoke out. We demanded accountability.

And today, we won.

The attempt to redraw district lines and weaken the voices of Georgia voters was pulled back.

But our work isn’t finished.

Every voter deserves fair representation. Every vote should count equally.

That’s why I’m running for the Georgia House.

Join us as we build a Georgia that works for people, not political agendas.

Redistricting may sound technical.

But this is really about whether our voices count.

Today, East Cobb showed up to say something simple:

Voters should choose their representatives, not the other way around.

Democracy works best when people participate, and we’re showing up and showing out.

I'm grateful to the Marietta Daily Journal () for publishing my perspective on data centers, AI, and Georgia's future.

This issue started with a local proposal but raises broader questions about how communities prepare for rapid technological change.

I'll share a gift link in the comments.
