Attention Unit #2 Staff: There have been a couple of PHISHING/SPAM emails circulating within the district. This started last Friday. In the event that you check your email over the summer, please be cautious and avoid the obvious phishing messages. Don't be tempted to click the link to "see the list of employees" and don't be temtped to open the attachment that was made to look like it cme from Mrs. Moss. Many of our staff have been tricked and they clicked and this only causes the phishing/spam messages to continnue. If you are one of those who have been scammed, please change your password for your Unit # 2 email address right away. Thank you.

The Veterans Airport of Southern Illinois in Marion will be conducting a Full-Scale Exercise on Saturday, May 30th, 2026 from 1pm to 4 pm.

This exercise is to test the Airport’s Emergency Plan and Response to a simulated airplane crash. You will see various emergency response vehicles on the airfield and in the surrounding areas.

This is an EXERCISE and not a real emergency event.

Please do not report the EXERCISE as an emergency on social media or notify 911.

Just another reminder about registration. Online registration is open for RETURNING students. This is done through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Get your student(s) registered so buildings can start scheduling for the 26-27 school year. You can also pay any or all fees as well as Chromebook insurance in the Portal. Getting that done early is a good thing.
