Thank you to the Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District for visiting our Walnut Creek Water Reclamation Facility! 💧

It was a pleasure to connect and highlight the important work happening behind the scenes to serve Henry County.

The Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District recently recognized outgoing Board Chairman Glenn Page for his six years of dedicated leadership and welcomed Gwinnett County Chairwoman Nicole Love Hendrickson as the District’s new Board Chair during the June 3 Governing and Executive Board meeting.

Following the meeting, board members and staff toured the Henry County Water Authority Walnut Creek Reclamation Facility, gaining valuable insight into the infrastructure and innovation that help support our region’s water future.

Thank you to Chairman Page for his service, and congratulations to Chairwoman Hendrickson as she begins her new leadership role.

Happy World Ocean Day! 🌊 While Henry County may be miles from the coast, protecting our oceans starts right here at home. Every storm drain, stream, and river is connected to a larger watershed that ultimately flows to the ocean.

This World Ocean Day, remember: clean water starts with all of us.
