Marine Exploration Camp at Burton 4-H Center last week 🐠 Our middle school 4-H’ers who went had the time of their life with a shark dissection, marsh ecology, beach time, a dinner cruise, and a ton of gaga ball 🦀 Ending the week with a win for Blue Crew 🐬 Look out for information in January about camping for next summer!

I’m not LION when I say our trip to Zoo Atlanta was wild 🦒 🐅 🦍 Though it was a hot summer day, we got to see so many cool animals as well as a fantastic bird show 🦜

4-H summer isn’t complete without a lazy river, water slides, and maybe a game or two of Simon Says when there’s some bad weather 🤿 Spivey Splash was a blast 💧

Outwit Outplay Outlast 🔥 8 hours, 14 kids, 1 4-H Survivor 🏆 These 4-H castaways worked through team and individual challenges to gain points 🍀 Congratulations to Rebekah for being the Sole Survivor.
Shoutout to Ms. Molli for being our “Jeff” and making the cardboard cutout of Jeff Probst himself.

🚨 SALE! We still have some gorgeous geraniums left. They are now $10 for 8 inch pots, $20 for hanging baskets, and $4 for the few 4 inch pots! They are sold every Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm at the Extension office until we sell out! Don’t wait, come support 4-H now! All proceeds go back to our incredible youth programs 🍀 They are easy to care for and love the sun ☀️

The rain on Friday didn’t stop our 4-H’ers from having a great time at Fortson Fun Day 🏹 🎣

Come out and see us Saturday, May 16th, at the Geranium Festival! We will have a variety of colors, 8 inch and 5inch pots, and hanging baskets for sale!
Selling at the office will pause on Thursday for us to prepare for the weekend and may resume if we have Geraniums left.

We are so proud of our Shotgun Club and all those who competed at our District Qualifier last weekend! Thank you to our coaches, volunteers, and Griffin Gun Club for helping make this happen! We have 9 shotgun members who are moving on the the state competition, wish them good luck 🍀

Henry County trap shooters compete in 4-H Northwest District Qualifier GRIFFIN — As it has for more than 30 years, the Griffin Gun Club on Amelia Road hosted the 4-H Northwest District Qualifier for modified trap shooting on April 25.

Shoutout to our SAFE BB Team! 4 members competed at the District Qualifier and did so great! 1 member moved on to the State Competition were she made a 100 on her written test! We are so proud of this team and congrats to Vanessa for making it all the way to State 🏆
