Notice of Advance Voting for the July 28th, 2026 Special Election

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, in accordance with O.C.G.A. 21-2-379.25 (c) that Logic and Accuracy testing and preparation of voting and tabulation equipment to be used in the July 28, 2026, Special Election will begin as follows:

DATE: Tuesday, June 23, 2026

TIME: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (excluding weekends)

LOCATION: 1550 S. Zack Hinton Pkwy, McDonough, GA 30253

Pursuant to O.C.G.A 21-2-495, the Secretary of State has ordered a statewide recount of the May 19, 2026, General Primary Election for the Public Service Commission District 3 Republican contest.

Henry County will recount ballots:
Starting: Wednesday, June 24, 2026
9:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Location: Henry County Board of Elections and Voter Registration Office
1550 S. Zack Hinton Pkwy. McDonough, GA 30253

Following the June 16, 2026 - General Primary Runoff, Henry County Elections & Registration will conduct a Risk-Limiting Audit (RLA) pursuant to SEB Rule 183-1-15-.04.

An RLA is a post-election verification process that helps confirm the accuracy of election results by comparing a random sample of paper ballots to the machine counts.

9:30 AM to completion
