Friday Finds... Father's Day edition!

Help us keep our volunteers hydrated! 💧
As we head into the hottest part of the year and with so many construction projects on our schedule, we are asking for donations of bottled water and Gatorade to support our amazing construction and ReStore volunteers. Staying hydrated is essential for safety and success on the job site, and these gift‑in‑kind donations are truly appreciated!

📍 Drop-offs:
You may bring bottled water or Gatorade to the ReStore during operating hours
🕘 Monday–Saturday | 9 a.m.–6 p.m.

🎁 Prefer to give another way?
Mailing or dropping off a gift card to a grocery or big-box store (like Sam’s Club or Costco) works great for us too!

🔨 COME BUILD WITH US when you join us for our Community Build Day to help build the Lewis family's new home.

🗓 Saturday, August 15 | ⏰ 8:30 a.m.–1 p.m.

No experience? No problem—we’ll teach you everything on site!
We'll supply everything you need - hard hat, tools, etc.
AND we’ll have snacks and water to keep you fueled.

👥 Ages 16+ welcome (consent waiver required)

Huge thank you to our incredible partners at Hyundai Capital America for showing up in a big way last Friday! 💪

HCA's team of 25 dedicated volunteers rolled up their sleeves in our workshop, cutting, assembling, and preparing the pieces that will become storage building kits for families in our community. 🛠️

One of these kits will soon be built for the Lewis Family on Garcia Street, while the other will be available for purchase at the McKinney ReStore, helping support our mission even further.

Shoutout to this hardworking group for jumping right in alongside our construction team and volunteer crew chiefs. You made a lasting impact, and we’re so grateful for your time, energy, and heart! 👏💙
