The New York State Consolidated Funding Application (CFA) Round is now open, with applications due by July 31, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.

To help applicants navigate the process, a CFA Workshop will be held on Thursday, June 18, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Farmingdale State College.

Accelerate Long Island to host inaugural tech and innovation summit 06/04/2026

Excited to share that Accelerate Long Island will host its inaugural Long Island Tech & Innovation Summit on June 11 at the Long Island Marriott in Uniondale.

This summit brings together leaders from across our region’s innovation ecosystem: universities, research institutions, startups, investors, and industry partners, for a full day focused on advancing Long Island’s role as a hub for discovery, commercialization, and high-tech growth.

“Long Island has tremendous research and innovation assets at our world-leading institutions, and the tech summit is an opportunity to reflect on the significant impact Accelerate Long Island has made over the past 15 years supporting commercialization through the strong partnership among academia, business and government,” said Stacey Sikes, board chair of Accelerate Long Island, a nonprofit that connects academic research institutions with the business community to support early stage, high-tech startups in the region.

“We are also going to discuss future opportunities to leverage our innovation ecosystem to confront the challenges we face in our region by supporting startups, creating high-tech jobs and growing our economy,” Sikes said.
