Merced was founded in 1889 and has grown to a population of almost 100k, giving a small-town feeling while still living in a mid-size city.
You’ll find us in the heart of the Central Valley, southeast of San Francisco, giving you easy access to the Central California Coast AND Yosemite National Park. This means that depending on your mood for the day, you can take a short drive to go skiing, lie on a beach, or hike a beautiful mountain!
To our community, what do you love about living in Merced?
