Don’t Make Theft Easy.

Small actions can make a big difference when it comes to protecting your belongings. Many campus thefts happen when items are left unattended or unsecured β€” but a few simple steps can help reduce your risk.

Stay aware, secure your valuables, and avoid leaving personal items unattended. Taking a few extra seconds to protect your belongings can help prevent loss and keep our campus community safer.

Think before you click. πŸ”’

Digital Safety Week is a reminder that cybercriminals often target college students through phishing emails, fake job offers, delivery scams, and account theft attempts.

A few extra seconds of caution can make all the difference.

🌈 Happy Pride Month!
As we celebrate Pride Month, the Pride pin serves as a symbol of UCMPD's commitment to supporting and serving all members of our campus community. More than a pin, it represents awareness, inclusion, and the importance of creating a safe and welcoming environment where everyone feels respected and valued.

πŸ’š Mental Health Matters πŸ’š

During Mental Health Awareness Month, our department staff proudly wore green pins to promote inclusion on campus, raise awareness, and show support for mental wellness while helping reduce the stigma surrounding mental health.

We’re also proud to announce that our Police Department has secured a Law Enforcement Mental Health and Wellness Act (LEMHWA) grant to support officer wellness initiatives for our department members. This funding will help expand wellness resources, strengthen peer support efforts, and promote the overall well-being of our personnel.

As part of these efforts, we will also be hosting a Peer Support Training for law enforcement agencies June 22–24.

Together, we continue building a stronger, healthier, and more supportive community. πŸ’š
