Devils Churn
Is a narrow inlet of the Pacific Ocean in Lincoln County, Oregon, south of Yachats.
It is located in the Siuslaw National Forest and is accessible via the Restless Waters trail from the Cape Perpetua Scenic Area visitor center or the U.S. Route 101 overlook.
The inlet developed over many thousands of years as wave action carved into the basalt shoreline, first forming a deep sea cave whose roof eventually collapsed.
As the tide comes in it can throw spray several hundred feet into the air when the waves reach the end of the churn. Visitors are urged to be cautious when visiting the churn, as it can be dangerous.

A back yard on Anderson Way and Star road is on fire right now and no emergency personnel are on scene yet.
“Okay Pocatello… this place is INSANE.
Today we stopped by Soda Barn and I had to try the Great Scott drink… and wow. This thing is loaded with flavor and seriously tastes like dessert in a cup.
But wait… because then they brought out these GIANT Oreo cake cookies. And when I say giant… I mean bigger-than-my-hand giant. Soft, rich, packed with Oreo flavor… honestly one of the craziest cookies I’ve had in Idaho.
If you’re anywhere near Pocatello, this is definitely a must-try spot for dirty sodas and desserts.
Now the real question is… are you going for the drink or the cookies first?”
