World Trade Center Miami hosted a special Luncheon Briefing in Honor of Miami's Consular Corps at the Hyatt Regency Coral Gables. From the Consulate General of Bangladesh in Miami, Consul Mr. Tuing Aye attended the event.
During the luncheon, Ivan Barrios, President & CEO, and Alice Ancona, COO, provided an briefing on upcoming Americas Food & Beverage Show in September while gave an overview of World Trade Center Miami's ongoing programs, strategic initiatives, and signature events. This luncheon serves as a vital platform for the Consular Corps to explore new avenues for collaboration with the center and global business leaders.

The Mayor of Miami Hon'ble Eileen T. Higgins invited the members of the consular corps of Miami for a diplomatic reception of International Engagement and Partnership. Consul General Ms Seheli Sabrin along with other international leaders joined the program to foster meaningful dialogue, strengthen global partnerships and celebrate the enduring relationship between the international diplomatic community and the City of Miami. She also presented MoFA diary and a book titled as " Churches of Bangladesh" to the Mayor as a token of appreciation.

Consul General Ms Seheli Sabrin had a fruitful meeting with the Miami Dade College, North Campus President Mr Fermin Vazquez at the later's office. Dr Zoraya M. Cuesta, Director, Student Services; Academic Dean Dr Efrain Venezuela; Student Services Dean Ms Crystal Lewis and New Student Center Director Ms Denise Mera were also present. President Vazquez and other members explained different programs, facilities and community engagements of MDC North campus. Ms Sabrin also shared Bangladesh Consulate and communities involvements in the local government as well as society. She also explored different arenas of further collaboration and cooperation. During the meeting she had a campus tour by the college authority and met Bangladeshi officials working in different schools.

Consul General Ms Seheli Sabrin attended a special conversation, " On Global Trade Trends and Local Advantage", organized by The City of Coral Gables. Guest speakers Mr Vince Lago, Hon'ble Mayor of Coral Gables and trade lawyer Ms Jennifer Diaz presented their perspectives and shared valuable insights on global trade trends and local advantages in that meaningful and networking event.

The City of Coral Gables and the Consulate General of Uruguay in Miami had an exhibition by an artist from Uruguay Mr Daniel Supervielle and celebrated art, culture and the global spirit of soccer. Hon'ble Mayor of the City of Coral Gables Mr Vince Lago inaugurated the exhibition. Consul General Ms Seheli Sabrin represented Bangladesh in that art exhibition as titled " HinchasFans" along with other members of consular corps. She also gifted the artist a cap with the logo of Bangladesh red and green flag.

The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce organized their Annual Meeting & Goals Conference and invited consular corps and foreign trade representatives for a discussion. Consul General Ms Seheli Sabrin participated the event along with other entrepreneurs, business leaders and stakeholders. The event was a platform for powerful networking among South Florida's corporate, civic and real estate communities where they discussed on South Florida's future economic goals, community impact, legislative milestones, priorities and future vision.

Consul General Ms Seheli Sabrin attended the reception organized by the Consulate General of Japan in Miami in honor of the Asian-American Advisory Board and Asian community at the conclusion of the AANHPI Heritage Month. The reception connected the Asian-American community with local government and local community working for the country’s development through building cultural and economic bridges. Consul General of Japan Mr Junya Nakano, Assistant Director of the Miami- Dade County Mayor's office Ms Maria Dreyfus-Ulvert, AAAB Chairman Mr Jose Fuentes and Mr Erich Ahorner, Vice President of JBAM gave speeches and expressed hope to deepen the partnership. Ms Sabrin presented a traditional Bangladeshi dress 'Panjabi' to the Consul General of Japan as a token of appreciation.
