Voting in a federal election without U.S. citizenship is a crime. Three noncitizens were convicted of illegal voting and related election offenses in federal court. Protecting the integrity of the electoral process and holding accountable those who violate federal election laws remains a top priority for our Office. Individuals who unlawfully register to vote or cast ballots in federal elections can face criminal prosecution, imprisonment, and immigration consequences.

Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs) and No Drone Zones are in effect around FIFA World Cup 2026 event locations, including Miami Stadium and the Miami Fan Festival. Flying a drone in a no-fly zone is a federal offense and comes with penalties โ€” including fines over $100,000, criminal charges, and confiscation of your drone.

A Gainesville man has been indicted for allegedly planning an attempted mass shooting targeting Jewish victims. Law enforcement and federal prosecutors are actively identifying, disrupting, and prosecuting hate-fueled violence before attacks can be carried out. Federal investigators continue to pursue those who profit from fraud and those who attempt to bypass professional licensing requirements.
