Our KLA dads came to school this week and left with paint on their hands, art on a canvas, and a morning they won’t forget 🎨🤍

Painting canvases together, creating art side by side, and spending time in the very spaces where their kids learn and grow every day. Watching these dads sit down at tiny tables, pick up a paintbrush, and make something beautiful with their child was one of our favorite moments of the year.

At KLA Schools of West Kendall, family is at the heart of everything we do. Art, creativity, and connection are central to the Reggio Emilia approach — and moments like these are exactly why. These photos are proof that the best gift you can give your child is your time and your presence.

What an amazing way to end an incredible year with our KLA families at Tinez Farms 🐐🌿
 
We celebrated the last day of school feeding goats, meeting ponies, climbing trees, riding the cow train, and exploring every inch of the farm with the biggest smiles on our faces.
 
This is what learning looks like when children get to experience the world firsthand — touching, observing, asking questions, and discovering things no classroom can replicate. At KLA, we believe the environment is one of the most powerful teachers a child can have. And today, that environment had hooves, hay, and a whole lot of wonder 🌾✨

In honor of the World Cup kicking off today — here are our little Soccer players showing you their game at KLA ⚽⚽️⚽️

Every week our kids take the field as part of our enrichment program, and it’s easily one of the highlights of their week.

But it’s so much more than a game. Soccer at this age builds coordination, balance, spatial awareness, and confidence. It teaches teamwork, patience, and how to get back up when you fall — skills that show up far beyond the field.

At KLA, some of the most important learning happens when kids are on their feet, in the sun, and fully in their bodies.

This is Music Wednesdays at KLA 🎶

An environment designed for rhythm, expression, and learning through sound. Every week our music teacher brings instruments, songs, and movement into the classroom — and every week these kids remind us why this is one of the most important things we do.

Music before the age of five builds language skills, strengthens memory, develops coordination, and helps children learn to listen, take turns, and express big emotions in healthy ways. It’s not just enrichment — it’s foundational.

That’s why at KLA, music is built into the experience. Because some of the most important learning happens when a child picks up a tambourine and discovers they can make something beautiful 🤍
