The groundbreaking of Atlantic Square(formerly Block 45) marks the beginning of a transformative mixed-use development that brings 616 residential units, retail, dining, and enhanced transit connectivity to the heart of our community.
Chairwoman Christine King has championed 40 units of affordable housing to ensure families have access to affordable housing in this new building at the heart of Miami.
Β
As one of the largest mixed-income Transit-Oriented Developments in Miami-Dade County, Atlantic Square helps create new housing opportunities while connecting residents to Metrorail, Metromover, Brightline, and Downtown Miami.
Β
Through collaboration with the SEOPW CRA, the project has also supported local workforce development through community job fairs and employment opportunities.
We look forward to seeing this exciting project take shape and contribute to the continued growth and revitalization of Southeast Overtown.
