Reminder for Milton residents!
We will be conducting a training exercise tomorrow and Wednesday, June 16-17, in the Bethany Bend and Cogburn Road area, primarily at King’s Ridge Christian School.
Training activities will take place roughly between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day. Residents may see an increased presence of police, fire, and other emergency vehicles in the area during that time.
We expect minimal impact on traffic. This is only a training exercise.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as our public safety personnel continue to train and strengthen their skills.

Hopewell Rd from Sandy Creek Farm Rd to Hopewell Close Dr is closed due to downed power lines. It is being worked on but please seek alternate routes and plan accordingly.

Heads up for next week, Milton!
The Milton Police Department and the Milton Fire Department will conduct a training exercise in the Bethany Bend and Cogburn Rd area on June 16th and June 17th, mostly at King’s Ridge Christian School.
We expect minimal impact on traffic, and residents should expect to see emergency vehicles responding to the training exercise.
Police and Fire training are vital to the readiness of our emergency services, and training like this is crucial to ensure our officers and firefighters are prepared for critical events should they ever occur.

Freemanville Road has reopened in both directions following the earlier closure caused by a fallen tree and downed power lines.
Thank you to the crews who worked to clear the roadway and restore powerlines and thank you to our community for your patience while this work was completed.
TRAFFIC ALERT
Freemanville Road is currently closed in both directions between Henderson South and Laconia Lane due to a fallen tree and multiple downed power lines.
Please avoid the area and use alternate routes while crews work to clear the roadway and make repairs.
We appreciate your patience and will provide updates as they become available.
