7 p.m. Peoples' and kids' choice judging starts.
7:45 p.m. Parade lap around the hospital led by Chris Van Gels.

UPDATE: The Special Olympic Truck Pull that was supposed to happen on Friday has been POSTPONED until fall.
INITIAL POST: The Ward County Sheriff's Department, Minot SWAT and Minot Fire Department are all competing in the Special Olympics Truck Pull happening on June 12th at 6:30pm at the North Dakota State Fairgrounds. All the money raised stays in North Dakota and makes it possible for the athletes to be able to participate in sports.

The Ward County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help in locating Jason Bohman.
Jason walked away from his home north of Minot on May 12, 2026, and has not been located.
Jason is described as:
Age: 46
Height: Approximately 5’10”
Weight: Approximately 190 lbs.
Clothing: Tan insulated coveralls, stocking cap, and sunglasses
Anyone who has seen Jason or has information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the Ward County Sheriff’s Department at (701) 857-6500.

Congratulations to Deputy Merck and Deputy Hawkins are in order. Both were promoted by Sheriff Roed to the rank of Sergeant today.
Both of them have done an excellent job serving the citizens of Ward County with professionalism and setting the example for new hires. We look forward to them stepping in to their new leadership roles. Congrats!
