Our staff members are hitting the ground running this summer with Extended School Year (ESY)! ESY gives students with special needs the opportunity to continue their learning journey and carry forward the wonderful progress they made throughout the school year.

We are so thankful for our dedicated staff and the students who make this program so special!

Crittenden Middle School track and field athletes delivered an outstanding performance at the County Finals!

Our Panthers earned impressive team finishes:
• 7th Grade Boys: 2nd Place
• 6th Grade Girls: 4th Place
• 8th Grade Girls: 6th Place

The Panthers celebrated multiple top finishes, including gold medals, while making school history. Highlights included a school record in the 7th Grade Boys 4x400 relay, Crittenden’s first 6th Grade Girls County Champion in 12 years, and the school’s first-ever 400m County Champions in both the 6th and 7th grade divisions.

Congratulations to all of our student-athletes, coaches, and families on an incredible season. Your hard work, dedication and sportsmanship made Crittenden proud!

The Bears earned team placements in six divisions:
• 6th Grade Boys: 2nd Place
• 7th Grade Girls: 3rd Place
• 6th Grade Girls: 8th Place
• 7th Grade Boys: 10th Place
• 8th Grade Boys: 10th Place
• 8th Grade Girls: 13th Place

Graham athletes captured gold medals in three events, and individual competitors earned second-place finishes in three events and third-place finishes in five events.

Students also placed 4th and 5th in 15 events, and two athletes set records across three events.

Congrats to all of our student-athletes, coaches and families for an amazing season! Go Bears!

Big promotions are not just for the big kids—give it up for our newest first graders!

Our MVWSD kindergarteners have had an amazing year learning to read, write, and count, making new friends, and building confidence. They have worked so hard and grown so much. This is only the beginning for these amazing kids and we could not be more excited to see what they do next!

Across MVWSD this week, our elementary schools celebrated a special milestone as hundreds of 5th graders celebrated their promotion to middle school. 🎉🎓

From joyful ceremonies and student poems to proud families and cheering staff, each celebration reflected the unique spirit of our school communities and the incredible growth of our students over the years.

We are so proud of our students for their hard work, resilience, and accomplishments. We can't wait to see all they achieve in middle school and beyond.

Today was a day of celebration as our 8th graders at Graham and Crittenden Middle Schools marked an important milestone: promotion to high school! 🎓✨

Families, staff, and friends gathered to honor the accomplishments of these remarkable students and celebrate the journeys that have brought them to this moment. Together, the Graham Bears and Crittenden Panthers have grown as learners, leaders, athletes, artists, musicians, problem-solvers, and community members.
