Behind every reservist is a family carrying the weight of service at home.
Today, more than 320,000 children in Israel have a parent serving in the reserves. According to data reported by the Knesset Research Center:
▪️ 52% of families reported a decline in their children’s emotional well-being
▪️ 70% reported academic challenges for at least one child
▪️ 44% sought emotional or mental health support for their children
These numbers tell a story of resilience, but also of a growing need for support.
WIZO’s Homefront Heroes program supports mothers, children, and families navigating the emotional challenges of reserve duty.
Because when a parent serves, the whole family serves.💙🇮🇱💙
