And just like that, Day 2 of IAC's 14th Annual Conference is a wrap! π
What an incredible way to close out two amazing days. We were so inspired by our closing speaker Rawle Andrews Jr., and we were thrilled to see our $1,000 raffle winner walk away with a huge smile. Congratulations! A huge thank you to Vincent J DiCalogero CPAs LLC for sponsoring today's raffle.
We honored Senator Monica Martinez and Assemblymember Jo Anne Simon with the Legislative Champion Award, Governor Kathy Hochul with the Executive Champion Award, and Meri Krassner and Rachelle Kivanoski with the Family Adovacy Award. Congratulations to all of this year's honorees!
And to our incredible IAC team, none of this would have been possible without your hard work, dedication, and heart. We see you and we are so grateful!
Stay tuned next week for more photos and highlights from both days of the conference. We have a lot to share and can't wait to relive it all with you! πΈ

Thank you to InterAgency Council of Developmental Disabilities Agencies, Inc. (IAC) for presenting me with its Legislative Champion Award. I am honored to be recognized for my work on behalf of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their families, and the dedicated staff who support them. At a time when disability rights are under threat, we must continue to stand up and put pressure on the federal government to protect services and rights of those who are disabled.
