THIS IS AMAZING: Because of Governor Kathy Hochul’s leadership, New Yorkers now have a real way to hold ICE and federal agents accountable if they violate people’s constitutional rights.

This is a huge deal. For too long, federal immigration agents have acted like they are above the law — terrorizing communities, targeting families, and pushing the limits of their power with little accountability.

But New York is making it clear: no one gets a free pass to violate civil rights. Not local officials. Not federal agents. Not ICE. If government agents abuse their power, New Yorkers deserve a meaningful remedy.

This is what Democratic leadership looks like. While Donald Trump pushes fear, chaos, and cruelty, Governor Hochul is protecting communities, defending constitutional rights, and standing up to ICE overreach.
