A huge thank you to NYCEDC for hosting an incredible Choose NYC Summit, on Tuesday, and inviting our team out to table! 🗽 It was a fantastic opportunity to connect directly with small businesses, entrepreneurs, and partners from across all five boroughs.
We were also incredibly proud to see our President and CEO, Jessica Walker, take the stage for the “State of the Boroughs” panel, sharing key insights on how we can drive innovation and economic growth right here in Manhattan. ✨
When city leadership, economic development teams, and our local chambers align, our business community wins! 🤝

Behind every data point in our Small Business Economic Statement is a human story an entrepreneur who poured their life savings into a storefront.
Today, our President and CEO Jessica Walker hosted NYC’s Mom and Pop Czar, Delia A. Awusi, MBA, to discuss the data and strategy behind supporting Manhattan’s businesses.
With storefronts navigating an intense cost squeeze, our conversation centered on the the Chamber’s 5 pillar platform designed to cut red tape, replace punitive fines with fair enforcement, and protect the small shops that give our city its heartbeat.
Thank you, Czar Awusi, for your time, vision, and shared commitment to a fairer New York City. The work continues!
