The Consulate kicked off the World Cup season with the 5th Annual NYC Consulate Cup ⚽️

Congratulations to Team UAE for a fantastic run and for representing the UAE with passion and sportsmanship, and congratulations to Team Montenegro on taking home this year’s trophy! 🏆

Bringing together 34 teams from communities across New York City, the tournament was a celebration of friendship, teamwork, and international connection.

H.E. Consul General Amna Almheiri joined Michigan Tech Week and engaged with leaders across the state’s innovation ecosystem, including Newlab Detroit and the University of Michigan.

Discussions focused on the future of innovation, entrepreneurship, research, and how founders can think globally in an increasingly interconnected world.

As the UAE continues to invest in building an innovation-driven economy, we look forward to strengthening collaboration with Michigan’s vibrant research, technology, and entrepreneurial communities.

Building on the momentum from Governor Whitmer’s visit to the UAE, H.E. Consul General Amna Almheiri was pleased to visit Michigan and continue strengthening ties between our communities.

The visit included productive meetings with Governor Gretchen Whitmer, the Michigan Women’s Commission, MEDC, and the American Arab Chamber of Commerce, focused on leadership, innovation, and economic collaboration.

As the UAE and Michigan continue to deepen their relationship, we look forward to further strengthening connections across business, and people-to-people engagement.

H.E. Amna Almheiri participated in a high-level US-UAE Business Council discussion focused continuity and resilience, highlighting the strength of US-UAE ties and the people-to-people connections at the heart of the partnership.

The discussion brought together leaders from finance, government, academia, and the arts, including the president of New York University, and the Director of the Guggenheim Museum, alongside Senior representatives from Bank of America.

The Boston Celtics welcomed Emirati students to their headquarters for a Chalk Talk session. The Consulate is proud to support partnerships like these, creating valuable opportunities for exchange and learning
