Student PAC at NYU is a nonpartisan public policy group aiming to strengthen the political voice of NYU students while increasing youth political activism.
Student Political Action Club at NYU (S-PAC or Student PAC for short) is a nonpartisan student-run public policy reform group operating at NYU. We seek to increase youth political activism and give a stronger voice to NYU students in the federal political spectrum. In our weekly meetings we discuss current political topics and argue any and all views over issues ranging from American involvement i
n the Israel/Palestine conflict to United States Environmental Policies. After having engaging conversations we allow members to vote on how they feel about each issue, creating a political platform detailing the collective views of our group on all of these issues. Using this platform, we then select federal candidates running for office during election seasons for endorsement based on how their views coincide with ours. We build relationships between these reform-minded candidates and our membership, holding campaigning, networking, discussion, and other such events to help foster these connections.
