“President Trump has empowered his Administration to work with lightspeed efficiency to make our government deliver more for all Americans," said Adam Telle, the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works.
On Monday February 23rd, Army Civil Works launched the "Building Infrastructure, Not Paperwork" change initiative that will maximize the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' ability to deliver national infrastructure by accelerating project delivery and cutting red tape in the permitting process.
The plan will also make the enterprise more efficient, increase transparency and accountability to attack waste and instill fiscal discipline, and strategically prioritize all resources on core missions that only serve the national interest.
