π MAPA had a strong showing at the National Association of Regional Councils (NARC) conference in Tulsa; and we came back with a lot to celebrate π
π Carlos Morales, our Transportation and Data Manager, took the stage as a panelist to discuss how metropolitan and regional planning agencies generate and manage local funding. It was a great opportunity to share what weβre doing in the six-county Omaha-Council Bluffs region and learn from peers across the country.
ππ National Association of Regional Councils honored MAPA Board of Directors Chair and City of La Vista Government Mayor, Doug Kindig, with the Tom Bradley Award for his leadership and commitment to regional planning.
ππ Plus the organization recognized former MAPA Board Vice-Chair and former Mills Co. Supervisor Carol Vinton as NARC Past President during the conference. Carol's service and leadership continue to make an impact beyond her time on MAPAβs Board of Directors.
π We're proud of our team and grateful for the connections made in Tulsa π
