Don’t want to drive or walk between destinations? Rent a Lime electric scooter. 🛴 There are more than 500 rentable scooters throughout Omaha. To locate and unlock them, download the Lime scooter app.
Scooters are heavy, sized for adults and can reach speeds up to 15 mph. Follow these rules to stay safe:
🚶 Stay off the sidewalks and avoid “no ride zones” for pedestrian safety near the stadium, Creighton’s campus and the Riverfront park
🚫 Don’t drink and ride

Heartland Bike Share provides hundreds of bike share e-bikes throughout Omaha with convenient stations near businesses and attractions. 🚲 You can purchase a 24-hour, one month or annual pass through the BCycle app. If you’re an Omaha-area resident (including Council Bluffs, Papillion, Bellevue, La Vista and Ralston), you can submit an application for a year of free e-bike access at HeartlandBikeShare.org/free-rides.

Save this post! 📌 Heading downtown for the CWS? Here’s what to expect for parking rates June 12-22.
Off-street parking rates:
⚾ Temporary off-street event rate for Park Omaha garages and surface lots near the stadium: $15/day no matter when the parking session begins or ends
🅿️ Standard off-street rate for all other Park Omaha garage and surface lots: typically $1/hour, $10/day (can vary by location)
⚠️ Note: The three surface lots under the I-480 overpass are only available after 3 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends.
On-street parking rates:
⚾ Temporary on-street event rate near the stadium: $30/day no matter when the parking session begins or ends
🟢 Standard on-street rate for E (economy) areas: $0.50/hour, $6/day max daily price
🟠 Standard on-street rate for 3+ areas: $1/hour for the first three hours, then increasing hourly with a max daily price of $15.50
🟣 Standard on-street rate for 2+ areas: $1/hour for the first two hours, then increasing hourly with a max daily price of $29

When on-street parking is in high demand during an event, an event rate is activated to manage traffic and encourage alternate parking options. For the CWS, the on-street event rate is $30/day for only a few blocks near the stadium. All other downtown and midtown on-street parking rates outside of this area will remain at their typical rates.
Baseball fans and area employees can find abundant, nearby off-street parking in these Park Omaha garages and surface lots:
$10/day: 19th & Capitol garage
$15/day: 13th & Capitol garage ($10/day if you reserve a space in advance at parkomaha.parkmobile.io)
$15/day: 15th & Chicago lot (after 3 p.m. weekdays, all day weekends)

The Charles Schwab Field Omaha/CHI Health Center Omaha campus also hosts approximately 4,000 parking stalls for public and pass-holder use and for those with accessible parking needs. All parking is first-come, first-served in this area.

Street closures and street restrictions help keep pedestrians safe during high-traffic events. For the 2026 CWS, street closures will include:
🔴 Mike Fahey street from North 10th to North 14th streets: Now until the end of the CWS (tentatively June 22).
🚧 Mike Fahey Street from North 12th Street to North 13th Street: Besides cars entering Lot B, will be closed starting this morning, June 10, until the end of the College World Series.
🚧 North 13th street from Cuming to Cass streets: Every day a game is on the field, these streets are closed two to three hours before the first game of the day, opening back up an hour after the last game ends.
