Youth Mart is a donation center for young adults under age 26 who have aged out of foster care, have foster care experience, or may be otherwise unconnected.
Partnership 4 Hope empowers young adults aging out of systems of care to build stable, fulfilling lives through mentorship, essential resources, education, and a caring community that ensures they never transition alone. Youth Mart carries household essentials including furniture, kitchen items, housewares, bedding, clothing, food, hygiene items, cleaning product
s, and children’s items/clothing up to size 5T. Young people shop with their case worker from one of our collaborative agencies for items to set up their home. The agencies in our collaboration are Project Everlast, Child Saving Institute, Family Housing Advisory Services, Youth Emergency Services, Central Plains Center for Services, Childrens Square/The Therapy Place (IA), Heartland Family Service, Omaha Home for Boys, State of Nebraska, and Angels Share. Volunteers contribute greatly to the success of Youth Mart. Every week, volunteers sort through donations, acquire donations from community groups, and deliver furniture to the shoppers. We have a dedicated group of regular volunteers and volunteers who drop in periodically. Agencies, companies, and churches are a big part of our group, as well. Please contact us if you are interested in volunteering at Youth Mart or with our Truck Brigade, who delivers furniture each week. Youth Mart was started in 2012 through a collaboration of many local non-profits and is now a program of Partnership 4 Hope. All of the household essentials we offer are acquired by donations from our generous community members. To honor and show respect to the young people we serve, we only offer clean items that are ready-to-use. Regular high-need items:
• toilet paper

• body lotion

Car troubles are often an easy fix, but can cost big bucks or result in lost work or school time.
Our Cole French Educational Support Fund exists for just these kinds of moments. Whether we need to send it into the shop -- or swing by for a quick parking lot battery swap adventure! -- investing in the young folks in our community keeps us all moving.
Heading to Costco this weekend? Here are some of our favorite treats that we discover there. We would love for you to join us as a Pantry Partner, assisting us in maintaining essential items for our shoppers! 🍎
Easier to make a financial donation? That works too! One time and recurring donation options available:
Emerging adulthood is a challenging time. Learning to navigate working, living on your own, paying bills, dealing with unexpected emergencies - it's hard!
Our young adults tell us they often feel like this cartoon. They're fine one minute, then suddenly something comes up that becomes a huge barrier to their financial security.
Being able to provide the basics as they work through whatever challenges they're facing at the moment is our passion.
From small things like shampoo and deodorant at Resource Days, or big things like a mattress and a clean set of sheets for their first night in their new place, Partnership 4 Hope is working to ensure young adult former foster youth are able to navigate through difficult circumstances with dignity and hope for their futures 💙💚

Today, we are deeply grateful for our collaborative agency, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands! This past weekend, our team had the privilege of receiving the award for Community Partner of the Year.
Our united dedication to supporting young individuals as they navigate their transition to adulthood ensures they remain housed, connected, and empowered to achieve their goals. 💪🏼

A bottle of dish soap or a pack of sponges might seem small — but for a young adult working hard to maintain a safe home for themselves and their kiddos, it can make a real difference.
That's why in addition our Buckets of hope for all new shoppers, all returning Resource Day shoppers have open shop options for basic household tools and cleaning supplies.
We invite you to join our community of pantry partners in supporting young adults transitioning from systems of care. Together we can keep young folks housed in safe, clean homes and they navigate their first years of independence. 🏡

We pick up a lot of things in our P4H van, but Pancake the Hedgehog was our first animal rescue!
We love a good nonprofit collab, even when our missions might not exactly cross over very much. Lucky timing had our staff right in the area this Hops + Co. Small Animal Rescue guy needed to be picked up and he'll be fostered by our Director of Programs, Morgan!
We'll be getting back to furniture today, but we're always grateful for these fun little moments to remind ourselves what the "Partnership" in Partnership for Hope really means!
