🇺🇸 A big thank you to Orange County Association of School Administrators OCASA for providing an opportunity for our OCPS administrators to hear directly from school board candidates! I was grateful to be able to livestream in while spending a few days in El Salvador doing mission work with my family. Technology is truly amazing!

The questions were thoughtful and centered on what matters most, supporting the incredible people who make OCPS successful every day. As your future School Board Chair, I will keep the focus on our administrators, teachers, students, parents, and the dedicated team who serve OCPS with excellence.

Enjoyed attending the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) Mega Conference and spending time with my colleagues Rep. Nan Cobb, Rep. Scott, and Rep. Blanco while connecting with accounting and business professionals from across Orlando and Central Florida.

Conversations like these are important - hearing directly from people creating jobs, growing businesses, and serving our communities helps us stay informed and continue supporting a strong economy and opportunities across our region.

Thank you to the FICPA President & CEO Shelly Weir and Chief External Affairs Officer Jason Harrell for bringing together leaders from across the profession for a great event and meaningful discussion.

What a productive June meeting! We elected a group of new members, our dedicated volunteers are in high gear preparing for the August and November elections, and we added some additional candidate endorsements. We’re fired up and ready to deliver strong results for our community.
