Our Patriots are making the most of summer! 🌱
Last week, Horticulture teachers participated in a collaborative PLC at Valencia College, where Dr. Garces led a tour and shared insights on our articulation agreement with OCPS. We’re grateful for Valencia’s partnership and hospitality!
Meanwhile, our FFA students are proudly representing Freedom High School at the 98th Florida FFA State Convention & Expo this week right here in Orlando. We can’t wait to hear about their incredible experiences!

Freedom High School proudly represented Patriot Nation at this year’s AVID Summer Institute! As an AVID National Demonstration School, we showcased excellence on a national stage. Brianna and Ricardo made history as the first-ever national student MCs for a General Session, our talented Jazz Band opened the conference with an incredible performance, an inspiring presentation from a Freedom alumni, Sarah Hedger, and 12 Patriots served as Student Leader Ambassadors. Alongside nine outstanding staff members representing multiple content areas, and the leadership of our AVID Coordinator, Staff developers, and AVID leaders, Ms. Brown and Ms. Porter, we demonstrated the power of collaboration, leadership, and student success. These three inspiring days reminded us of what makes Freedom special—we are leaders, we are innovators, we are Patriots. We are Freedom! 💙❤️
