East Orange County Kiwanis

East Orange County Kiwanis partnered with the Primrose Aktion Club to decorate and assemble Birthday Bags for underserved families in the East Orange County area through Adriana's Attic. The bags included cake mix, a can of soda, instructions for making the cake, aluminum tray, party favors, candles, a party hat, small toys, and birthday button. After juice and a snack the Aktion Club members (a service club for adults with disabilities) played bingo for small prizes. Everyone had such a great time. Thank you to our friends, family, and community members for donating to this great cause!

The Kiwanis Club of East Orange County is collecting items to create Birthday Boxes for local children in need.

We're partnering with our Aktion Club—a Kiwanis-sponsored service club for adults with disabilities—to assemble the boxes on Tuesday, June 16, so we need donations ASAP!

POKER NIGHT TONIGHT!

Good news in the fight against maternal and neonatal tetanus (MNT): The disease has been eliminated in Sudan and South Sudan — a significant public health milestone!

Kiwanis has been proud to support UNICEF’s efforts to eliminate MNT worldwide since 2010. Through extensive vaccination and education campaigns, this painful and deadly disease has now been eliminated in 51 of 59 priority countries.
