Volunteers from nonPareil Institute joined us this morning for a cleanup at Mayor Carl T. Langford Park!

They collected 46 lbs of litter including items like straws, bags, and wrappers. Crazier items included a beach ball, paint brush, and a shoe!

Make sure when youโ€™re out enjoying our green spaces this summer to make sure all your trash makes it to a trash can โค๏ธ๐ŸŒŽ

Volunteers joined us last weekend for a Downtown Cleanup! ๐ŸŒ‡

Together everyone helped remove over 300 pounds of litter! ๐Ÿ‘

This is our last cleanup for a while as the summer heat is already out in full forceโ˜€๏ธ

Remember you can continue doing your part all summer long by switching to reusable water bottles, skip the straw, and making sure no trash gets left behind as you soak up the summer sun! ๐Ÿ๏ธ
