Cadets kicked off the day with the long‑awaited volleyball competition they’ve been practicing for all week. The matches were incredibly close, but Charlie Flight ultimately claimed first place, with Echo in second and Hotel in third. The excitement and teamwork on the court set a great tone for the day.

After the games, cadets loaded into vans for a guided tour of the U.S. Air Force Academy, where Academy graduates shared history, insights, and stories from their time as cadets. The day wrapped up with sessions introducing even more NCSA opportunities available to them in the future.

Good morning from encampment ☀️Above all – rise together!

The cadets started the morning with a solid breakfast before heading to the Outdoor Leadership Complex. In four groups, they moved through communication and confidence‑building challenges, including silent‑communication TLPs, a low‑ropes teamwork course, rock climbing, and a mid‑height ropes course. They finished with a high‑ropes course completed with a wingman, where many showed real courage by taking the bungee jump.

Later, they attended NCSA classes to learn about more opportunities beyond basic encampment. The day wrapped up with the Knowledge Bowl, testing their leadership, aerospace, CAP, and handbook knowledge, followed by team sports to sharpen their volleyball skills for the upcoming competition.

Today at encampment, cadets kicked off the morning with PT, powering through core workouts and bringing tons of energy. Bravo Flight earned Honor Flight of the Day, and they kept that momentum rolling during TLP, where cadets—blindfolded and holding a single rope—had to form shapes using nothing but communication and teamwork. It was a quick but impressive showcase of trust and problem‑solving.

Throughout the day, cadets dove into classes about the many opportunities waiting for them after encampment, including a variety of NCSAs like Cyber and Engineering. They wrapped up with more team sports, including volleyball, getting in some valuable practice for the upcoming competition. A full day, a motivated corps, and plenty of excitement building for what’s next!
