Firefighters were dispatched to the area of 35th Ave. and Peoria around 5:30 PM for the reports of a structure fire. Crews arrived and found an RV fire that had extended to a residential home.

Firefighters were able to quickly knock down the flames coming from the RV preventing further loss to the home. Crews were able to rescue three cats and prior to arrival all occupants had safely evacuated the structure.

The Community Assistance Program is currently tending to a family of three that will be displaced. There are no firefighter or civilian injuries and the cause is under investigation.

For years, this incredible team worked side-by-side helping investigate fires, support critical cases, and serve the people of Phoenix with professionalism, dedication, and heart.

Firefighters were dispatched at 9:00 PM to the area of 28th St and Roosevelt St for reports of a house fire.

Upon arrival, crews found smoke and flames coming from the rear of a residential home, with fire spreading to a nearby structure. Firefighters deployed hose lines to battle the flames while ladder crews performed vertical ventilation operations on the roof.

Crews quickly extinguished the blaze, limiting damage to the nearby home to the exterior. All occupants safely exited prior to the fire departments arrival. Personnel from the Community Assistance Program are assisting with both homeowners immediate needs.

There are no reported injures at this time. Fire investigators are on the scene to determine the cause.

Firefighters have extinguished a house fire near 19th Ave. and Van Buren St. A total of 10 people have been displaced, and the Community Assistance Program (CAP) is assisting with their needs.

The cause is under investigation, and no injuries were reported.

Firefighters have rescued four dogs and one turtle out of a mobile home fire near 19th Ave. and Camelback Rd. Crews arrived and found heavy smoke coming from the interior of the structure.

All four dogs and turtle are expected to survive. They are no reported injuries.

Firefighters were dispatched to the area 51st Ave. and Broadway Rd around 7AM for the reports of smoke coming from an unknown source.

Crews arrived and found approximately a two acre brush fire with no potential exposures. Firefighters utilized brush and tanker trucks along with hand lines to extinguish the flames.

There are no reported injuries and crews will remain on the scene to extinguish all remaining hotspots.
