June after5 Tech Mixer: Hosted by the Defense Innovation OnRamp Hub: Arizona - Arizona Technology Council The Arizona Technology Council and Southwest Mission Acceleration Center join to host the March after5 Tech Mixer at SWMAC's beautiful office space.

One of the strengths of the Arizona Aerospace Summit is the caliber of our speakers.

Guiding one of the Frontline panels is Drew Trojanowski. One of Phoenix Business Journal's "40 under 40," he's the president and CEO of the Southwest Mission Acceleration Center (MAC), where he drives mission-driven innovation and fosters collaborations across entrepreneurs, academia, industry, and national security networks.

His previous service as Military Legislative Assistant to U.S. Senator John McCain and his decade of service to the U.S. Army give him the unique defense perspective we can't wait to hear on July 15th!

Arizona’s FY2027 state budget includes several important wins for Arizona’s innovation economy, advanced manufacturing sector and business community. The Arizona Technology Council applauds bipartisan efforts that:

✅ Preserve key economic development tools
✅ Eliminate the repeal of the solar tax credits
✅ Restore full expensing for domestic R&D expenditures
✅ Expand public infrastructure investment to support manufacturing growth
✅ Extend the Arizona Commerce Authority
✅ Advance STEM education through Arizona’s new State Seal of Computer Science Proficiency, one of the Council's key legislative priorities

At the same time, we remain concerned about policy changes that could impact Arizona’s long-term competitiveness, including the repeal of the refundable R&D tax credit, repeal of the Quality Jobs tax credit and reductions to university funding.

We look forward to continuing our work with policymakers to ensure Arizona remains a leader in innovation, workforce development and economic growth.
