When someone cannot prove who they are, they cannot access housing, employment, or healthcare, even when opportunities exist.
Homeless ID Project exists to remove that barrier.
Each document we replace helps restore access, dignity, and possibility.

Systemic barriers often begin with something simple: a missing piece of identification.
Across Arizona, individuals are unable to access employment, housing, and healthcare because they lack basic documents.
Homeless ID Project addresses this foundational gap by providing replacement IDs and vital records at an average cost of $40 per document, creating the first step toward stability.

$40 is all it takes to provide one vital document—and open the door to stability.
At Homeless ID Project, we help individuals experiencing homelessness replace the IDs and documents they need to access housing, employment, healthcare, and education.
Your support directly funds this work. Every dollar removes a barrier.

At Homeless ID Project, we remove the first and most critical barrier to stability: identification.
From intake at the Key Campus to ordering vital records and supporting clients through every step, our team helps individuals replace what they need to move forward—IDs, birth certificates, and other essential documents.
Without identification, people are locked out of housing, employment, healthcare, and education. We exist to change that.
