The 2026 School year ended with lots of celebrations. The only thing better than giving back to your community is celebrating your generosity with friends. Mrs. Gall's 4th grade brought in the most shoes and belts for our schoolwide shoe drive this year, and Ms. Harris's and Mrs. Gonzalez's classes were the Food Wars and Most Generous classes during the schoolwide food drive. Today's Thursday Throwback takes us back to just last week when the Washington Elementary School District honored our own, Teri DeMore! Earlier this year, the district also honored Jaris Harris and Chris Dacey and recognized Ami Mote and Stephanie Henrich as ALTS Super Staff. We know that all of the ALTS staff are the best, and it is great when some of them earn this special recognition.

Congratulations to our amazing eighth-grade class and the future high school class of 2030. They will be truly missed! Thank you to the staff and parent volunteers who made this year's promotion ceremony special.

ALTS is Amazing! It took two semi-trucks to pick up all the food from our recent food drive! St. Mary’s Food Bank said we had one of the most successful school drives in the state! A video of the Annual Cereal Domino Event will be posted soon. St. Mary’s was so impressed, they sent a clip to ABC15 News. You will find it here, along with the contest results. Thank you to everyone who contributed.
