Earlier this month, our CEO, Talli Dippold, joined leaders from across North America for the joint conference of the Association of Holocaust Organizations and the Council of American Jewish Museums.

✡️ Representing Arizona Jewish Historical Society and the Hilton Family Holocaust Education Center, Talli shared a belief that guides our work every day:

🎤 "By connecting Holocaust history with the stories of Jewish communities past and present, we create a deeper understanding of both what was lost and what continues to thrive. Together, these narratives tell a more complete human story."

As the Hilton Family Holocaust Education Center advances toward its 2027 opening, we continue to help shape conversations about how Holocaust education and Jewish history can come together to create meaningful learning experiences that stay with visitors long after they leave. ✨

📘 Mensch (noun): Yiddush word for a person of integrity and honor.

Someone who does the right thing, treats others with care, and carries themselves with quiet strength. This month, we celebrate what it means to be a mensch, and how those values continue to shape community, culture, and connection. ✨

For so many Jewish kids, summer camp isn’t just a trip, it’s a rite of passage. ☀️🏕️

It’s where friendships form over shared songs, where traditions come to life around the table, and where independence grows one summer at a time. From Shabbat in the open air to late-night laughs in the bunks, camp becomes a place that stays with you long after the season ends.

We’re excited for everyone in our community as we step into another summer of memories, connection, and joy. 💙

Sometimes the smallest gifts carry the greatest meaning. 🎁

Vivian Ullman Klein shared a story about her mother, Gerda Weissmann Klein, receiving a copy of "Life" magazine, one of her first gifts from her husband. From that moment on, “life” became a word filled with purpose and possibility.

A reminder that a kind gesture can stay with us forever.

A skillet of shakshuka brings big flavor and even bigger comfort, especially in the summer. 🍅🍳

Jewish communities across North Africa and the Middle East embraced this dish and carried it into kitchens around the world, where it became a staple in Jewish and Israeli cuisine. It’s hearty enough to satisfy, light enough for warm weather, and always better shared.
