Once a Viking, always a Viking. πŸ’šπŸ€

Congratulations to Sunnyslope alum T.J. Campbell (Class of 2006), whose jersey was retired by his professional basketball club, Cholet Basket, in France after five seasons with the team. As recently featured by azcentral.com Sports, T.J.’s journey has taken him from Sunnyslope High School to competing across some of Europe’s top professional leagues.

Coach Ray Portela shared that T.J. continues to return to Sunnyslope to support and mentor current players, demonstrating the same commitment and team-first mindset that defined his time as a Viking.

We are proud to celebrate this incredible milestone and honored to see a Sunnyslope legacy continue to inspire future generations.

Former Arizona high school basketball star has his number retired by French basketball club. See link below ⬇️
