(⚠️If your renewal seems to be stuck in limbo, please log in to the Licensing Portal to see if you have any incomplete tasks. Failing to answer the renewal questions, upload proof of citizenship and a photo, and pay your fees can result in longer wait times.)

Personal and establishment licenses are issued by the board, but business licenses aren’t! 📋

Make sure you're familiar with what each license covers so you have what you need to be successful! 💇‍♂️💈💅

📢 Reminder: License renewals are not automatic once you hit submit.

Our team reviews and processes an average of 1,700 license renewals each week in the order they're received. It can take up to 4 weeks for your renewed license to be approved and available to print.

To avoid delays, double-check your renewal submission in the portal to confirm all of your tasks are "Under Review" or "Completed."

💡Tip: Skip the last-minute stress by submitting your renewal up to 60 days before your license expires!

Knock, knock! 🚪 Standard inspection incoming... but when?

The short answer: Anytime during your regular business hours.

According to Arizona law (A.R.S. 32-542), state investigators have the right to inspect your entire facility while you're open for business.
