Whether serving aboard a Coast Guard cutter on the Great Lakes, patrolling Phoenix streets as a police lieutenant or helping fellow veterans through the American Legion, service has remained a constant.

Now Augustyn is beginning a new chapter in that service as commander of American Legion Post 64 - Ahwatukee.

With the anniversary of D-Day on June 6th, there is a movie playing at AMC Theaters on Saturday at 12:55pm called Pressure. Billed as a historical depiction of the 72 hours leading up to the landing and the decisions that had to be made, mainly by General Eisenhower.
Tickets at this showing are 20% off of normal price and even better if you're 60 or older. We're inviting local Veterans to join Post 64 members for this showing.
