Connecting the Yuma Community!
We are thrilled to announce a new 30-second Arizona Relay Service (AZRS) commercial, airing now through June 21 across Yuma on ABC5, CBS13, and NBC11.
This campaign highlights our Speech-to-Speech (STS) services and features Spanish open captions, reflecting our ongoing commitment to reaching and supporting the Spanish-speaking community in the Yuma broadcast area.
Everyone deserves a voice and a reliable connection. Dial 7-1-1 or visit our website to see how AZRS makes communication accessible for all.

From Cassie Hassett,
June is DeafBlind Awareness Month, a time to celebrate the DeafBlind community, increase understanding, and promote accessibility, communication, and inclusion.
One important part of DeafBlind culture and communication is ProTactile (PT), a language and philosophy that uses touch to share information, connection, and access. Whether you are DeafBlind, Deaf, an interpreter, family member, service provider, or ally, learning about PT can help build stronger and more accessible communities.
If you’ve been interested in learning more about ProTactile, don’t miss this opportunity to learn from Yashaira “Yash” Romilus at our July gathering.
We hope you’ll join us as we continue raising awareness and expanding access for the DeafBlind community.
Happy DeafBlind Awareness Month!
Big news! We have moved our July gathering to Saturday, July 18th!
We are thrilled to announce that the afternoon workshop will be headlined by the one and only Yashaira "Yash" Romilus. If you have been waiting for the right moment to learn from an expert in "the DeafBlind community, specifically focusing on ProTactile (PT) language, communication method based on touch", this is it!
