We busted out our leather jackets and started practicing our hand jive for our ASVH-Phoenix Sock Hop! Our staff and residents had so much fun dancing and socializing like it was the 1950s again!

Without your selflessness, hard work and kindness each and every day, our Veterans wouldn't have the wonderful care that they do. You all are amazing and thank you!!

Today we recognize the sacrifices of military spouses who lost a loved one in the line of duty. This day honors the grieving wives and husbands who deserve our support, understanding and respect.
The Gold Star originated during WWI when service families flew flags with blue stars on them to indicate family members who were serving. If a service member died, the blue star was replaced with gold to know the price that the family had paid in the cause of freedom. Today, a Gold Star lapel buttons are awarded to surviving family members.
To our Gold Star Spouses, thank you for your sacrifices.
