How It Works:
Fill your bag with as many books as you can fit — and pay by the bag, not by the book!
This event we will have select NEW books you can add to your bag, as well as our usual USED book selection!
Flat fees by bag size:
• Small — $5
• Medium — $10
• Large — $15
• JUMBO — $20

The Portsmouth Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. came to acknowledge the vital roles our school counselors play in our students lives. Mrs. Bradley and Mr. Johnson were presented with plaques and thanked for their hard work throughout the school year. Thank you School Counselors for continuing to shine bright for our students, and thank you ladies for coming to honor them. What a beautiful surprise!

What a beautiful journey it has been watching these students grow from curious children into confident young leaders. The laughter, lessons, friendships, and memories made within these walls will forever hold a special place in our hearts. As they turn the page to a new chapter, we are reminded that while they may be leaving elementary school, they will always carry a piece of home with them. Keep shining, keep believing, and never forget just how amazing you are. Douglass Park Elementary will miss our 6th graders, shine bright like the stars you are!

We are extremely proud to have Mrs.Bradley as a part of our team. You all see snapshots of her greatness but we witness the difference she makes daily.

Portsmouth Excellent Educator secures grant to give Build-A-Bears to grieving students Trayva Bradley has perfected the role as Douglass Park Elementary School Counselor over the past seven years.

Success starts with the right preparation—and we’re making it fun, engaging, and impactful! Join us for an interactive SOL Prep Night designed to build “SOL Strength” across all core subjects.

Students will rotate through hands-on stations in Math, Reading, Science, and Social Studies, sharpening their skills and boosting confidence just in time for testing season. 💡📖➕🔬🌍
