Set sail for authentic German food, cold beer, live music, and World Cup action at The Bier Garden Portsmouth. ⚓🇩🇪🍻

We stopped by with owner Stefani and Sail Virginia host Cletus to get a preview of everything happening during the big weekend.⛵️

Bier Garden will be serving grab-and-go sandwiches, beer, and seltzers outside during the festivities, plus all your favorite food, drinks, and market items inside.

Soccer fans can catch World Cup matches all weekend long while enjoying a true German biergarten atmosphere right in the heart of Olde Towne.⚽️

And the fun doesn’t stop there:

Street sweeping is scheduled June 22 - June 26 in multiple Portsmouth neighborhoods.
For optimal cleaning, please remove vehicles from the street by 7 a.m. On-street parking may resume at 4 p.m. Streets will not be swept on normal trash collection days.

Event Parking Information 🚗
Attending one of the many events happening in Portsmouth this weekend? Use this parking map to help plan your visit.

🔹 High Street Employee Parking at the Middle Street Garage is in effect June 18–23.
🔹 General Public Parking, Customer Parking, Shuttle Lots, Vendor Parking, and Shuttle Service will be available June 19–23.

Visitors are encouraged to review the map ahead of time and allow extra travel time as increased traffic is expected throughout the weekend.

Juneteenth Holiday Trash Collection Schedule
Trash collection will remain on its normal schedule Tuesday, June 16, through Thursday, June 18. Friday, June 19 routes will be collected on Monday, June 22.
